Back to School: Morning Routine

I think that a good morning is they key to a good day. If you wakeup feeling refreshed and ready to go then your day is definitely going to be better than someone's who woke up grumpy and tired. This is my morning routine for days where I have more time to spare.

I start my morning at about 6 am when I wake up. I prefer waking up earlier rather than later as it means I can relax and have time to do more stuff.

The first thing I do is go and wash my face, apply some toner and then moisturisze. This is good because it keeps my skin looking good and wakes me up.

Next I put on my big fluffy robe and head downstairs for some food. As soon as I get downstairs I put the kettle on for some coffee. Whilst the kettle is boiling I like to make an omelette or scrambled eggs if I have the time, if not a cereal bar will do.

Once I've eaten and my coffees been made I head upstairs with my mug to do my makeup, I have another blog post on my Back to School makeup routine if you're interested. Once I've done my makeup I move onto hair and I usually sleep with my hair in plaits so that when I wake up its in nice natural looking waves so all I have to do is comb through it with my fingers.

After I've done hair and makeup I brush my teeth or I'll be stuck with horrible coffee breath all day. I then put on my uniform and grab my bag ready to head out the door.
