Back to school: Makeup Routine

I often find having a set makeup routine for busy school mornings works great to keep me on track so I know what I have left and roughly how long it will take me. This is the makeup routine that I use any day where I am rushing because its so easy, quick and it looks good. If your school doesn't allow you to where much or any makeup then I have included tips to help you look your best without getting into trouble!

First of all I prime my face as I have a long day ahead of me and want my makeup to stay on until I get home, I'm currently using the L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer as it does a great job of stopping my face from looking greasy as well as priming my skin well.

Next I apply the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation all over my face, blending down my neck and up to my ears to get even coverage. This foundation is gorgeous in summer as it has a slight dewy effect which I love. If your school doesn't allow makeup try a bb cream or tinted moisturizer for less obvious look.

I then put some Benefit boi-ng concealer under my eyes and over any spots, marks or imperfections I may have.

I then put some bronzer, I've recently been obsessed with Hoola from Benefit, in the hollows of my cheeks, on my temples and along my jaw line to create the illusion of a better bone structure. If this is to much for you try only applying a little into the hollows of your cheeks then blending it out so its not as noticeable.

For eyes I like to take a light pink or brown eye shadow and apply it allover the lid, usually underneath an eye shadow primer and then fill my crease with a dark brown or berry color. I finish that off with some Soap & Glory Supercar eyeliner and a couple of coats of Benefit Rollerlash mascara. Leave out the eyeliner flicks and this is a great natural look, for schools allowing less makeup.

I just take a dark brown eyebrow pencil and fill in my brows using soft feathery strokes for a natural brow.

For lips I usually, apply a lip balm when I start makeup and then use my favorite Mac Russian Red lipstick for a statement look.

That's my back to school makeup look, feel free to share yours below.
